Skate boarding for beginners and Intermediate  

Dates: 3 Saturdays, October 5th, 12th, 19th 

(Rain date makeup Oct 26th) 

Time: Beginners 9:30am - noon

Intermediate 12:30-3:00PM

Location: Pepperell Skate Park 4 Hollis St, Pepperell, MA 01463

Tuition:  $98 per student 

 Professional Skate Boarder Nolan Munroes Who competed in X-Games set a world record for highest McTwist, and won bronze medal in 2012 X-games has teamed up with Groton-Dunstable Community Education this Fall to offer skateboarding to the community.  Ages 7-16 both  Beginners and Intemediate levels. The beginner  intensive  you will learn the basics and build your confidence, while Intermediate will foucus more on skills training and getting you to the next level.

Required equipment - skateboard, helmet, and knee pads, *elbow pads strongly encouraged. 

Liability waiver (found on home page) will need to be signed at the time of registrations. 

Summer Tennis Camp GRADES 1st - 4th &  5th - 8th

Location: GDRHS Tennis Courts 

Tuition:  EACH GROUP SESSION IS $109 per STUDENT REGISTRATION DEADLINE June 15th Space is limited, so sign up quickly!

 Mark Coronis will return for his 26th year to direct the Groton Summer Tennis program. Mark has taught grades 3 through 5 in the district for over twenty years, and for three years has served as the tennis coach at GDRHS. He is a veteran high school and college varsity player, and actively participates in the U.S.T.A Competitions at the 4.5 level. Parents are asked to place children in the appropriate level group. A student's level may be switched at the director's discretion. Registration is on a first come basis. There will be no refunds due to absenteeism or weather conditions. Attempts will be made for a make-up session at the Director's discretion. The camp will be held on the tennis courts at the GDRHS. Participants must provide their own tennis racket and drink. Campers must wear appropriate sneakers (no open-toed shoes or Crocs).

Grades 1 - 4 – Camp is for students who are ready to develop the basic fundamentals of
forehands & backhands, using practice drills and skill games. When applicable the children
will be paired into groupings of similar skill.

Grades 5 - 8 – Camp is for students who are ready to develop the basic fundamentals, forehands, backhands, volleys, & serves using practice drills and skill games. Whenapplicable the children will be paired into groupings of similar skill.

No Refunds are given for absences or withdrawal, except for medical reasons,

which require a doctor’s note. Students must be walked to the court and checked in with the instructor.

Come learn Individual Skills – passing, kicking, blocking, & punting. In a safe fun environment. 

Teams are set by Sept 10th, PLENTY OF ACTION EACH WEEK WITH A SUPERVISED GAME! Volunteer Coaches and Referees are needed!
